Named Rendezvous Days, the celebration features music, live performances, a battle of the bands contest, and arts and crafts vendors selling unique, handmade pieces. Colville also boasts its own theater company, Woodland Productions, and a number of dance studios.
As you can see, the city may be in the middle of the woods, but it sure is no backwater burg. Aside from an up-and-coming art scene, Colville will also give you a shopping and dining experience that will exceed all your expectations. With a widening consumer base, businesses have been investing in downtown Colville property and breathing new life into the city's economy.
A charming, pedestrian-friendly historic downtown district centers on a Main Street lined with shops of all kinds, from nationally known retailers to art galleries to stores selling antiques and stained glass. Check out Barman's, an antique store right on Main Street. This quaint, one-of-a-kind establishment is housed in a hundred year-old building that has been included in the National Register of Historical Places.
On the city's north side you'll find a discount super store, supermarkets, and the Colville Retail Center among other things. To the south are the Southtown Plaza Shopping Center and a variety of other establishments, including a sporting goods store.
